SPACE SAFARI FESTIVAL
House Rules & Conditions of Entry
By entering Space Safari Festival, you agree to the following house rules. Failure to comply may result in refusal of entry or removal from the festival grounds without refund.
ACCESS CONTROL
As a visitor, you may be searched and/or checked for possession of alcohol, drugs, and weapons. If you do not cooperate with this control, we may decide to deny you access to the festival.
AGE
Persons under 18 will not be allowed access to the festival. So don’t forget to bring your ID. Only visitors with a valid identity card or passport will be allowed to enter the festival.
FIRE
Open fires, barbecues, and gas fires are prohibited at the festival.
DRUGS
We do not want to endanger the health of our visitors, which is why drug use is strictly prohibited. Anyone in possession of and/or under the influence of soft or hard drugs is not welcome and will be refused entry. If drugs are found at the entrance or on the festival grounds, they will be confiscated and you will be removed from the premises. Police will be called if necessary.
OFFENSIVE BEHAVIOR
Anyone committing or provoking violence against other visitors, management, or staff will be refused entry. The same applies to anyone carrying and/or using weapons or dangerous objects.
DRESS CODE
T-shirts or clothing with offensive slogans are not welcome. Other than that, there is no dress code at the festival and you are free to be yourself.
RACISM, DISCRIMINATION, AND HARASSMENT
A visit to Space Safari Festival should be a pleasant experience for everyone. Therefore, all forms of racism, discrimination, and harassment are strictly prohibited. This includes racist, fascist, sexist, insulting, or discriminatory statements; sexual harassment; annoying or aggressive behavior; vandalism; and violence. People behaving as if they intend to commit violent acts will also not be allowed entry.
PROPERTY
Anyone who does not respect festival infrastructure, decorations, or buildings risks sanctions. If you damage property, you are responsible for repairing or replacing it.
HOUSE RULES TO PROTECT THE ATMOSPHERE
Space Safari is known for its friendly and positive atmosphere. We want to keep it that way. Anyone who is excessively loud or disrupts the atmosphere risks sanctions. People who have caused trouble at previous editions of Space Safari will not be admitted.
USE OF TOILETS
Using a bathroom with multiple people is not allowed. Toilets may only be used for sanitary purposes. Public urination, whether inside or outside, is strictly prohibited.
TAGGING
Tagging—applying symbols or text with graffiti or markers—is strictly prohibited. Anyone caught doing so will no longer be admitted to the festival.
SECURITY CAMERAS
Inside and outside the festival area, security equipment such as cameras is used in various locations. As a visitor, you agree to be filmed and/or photographed. By entering the festival, you grant us permission to use and share these recordings without restriction. You hereby waive any right to compensation. Recordings may be shown to the police or third parties in the event of accidents, acts of violence, or emergencies.
CIGARETTES AND VAPES
Smoking is only permitted outdoors.
TAKING PHOTOS OR FILMING
If you want to take photos or make video or audio recordings at the festival, you must obtain written permission in advance. Without this permission, recordings are not allowed. Illegally obtained recordings will be confiscated.

If you want to carry out promotional activities inside or outside the festival, you must request approval well in advance. Without written confirmation, promotion is not allowed. Promotional activities include distributing flyers, posters, or other promotional materials.
DRINK CONSUMPTION
Refreshments may only be consumed inside or on the festival site. It is forbidden to take drinks, cups, glasses, or bottles outside the festival grounds. Personal drinks are only allowed at the stages.
SALE OF GOODS
You may not sell or trade goods at the festival without written authorization.
INSTRUCTIONS FROM STAFF
As a visitor, you must immediately follow instructions from management and/or staff, for your own safety.
WHEN LEAVING
We ask you to leave the festival:
- Without vandalism
- Without causing noise disturbances
- Respecting order and cleanliness
- Without taking glass or reusable cups outside
- Without driving if you have consumed alcohol
- With respect for surrounding houses and residents
IN CASE OF VIOLATION
If you do not follow the house rules, you will be expelled from the festival. Your entry fee will not be refunded. This also applies if you provoke or incite others to violate the rules. You will receive a temporary venue ban, which remains in effect until the next management team meeting. This team will determine the final sanction. If you receive a permanent local ban, it will be reported to the police. Violating a local ban may result in police removal, legal proceedings, and permanent refusal.
In cases of criminal offenses, we always report them to the police. We may also provide a description.
For inappropriate situations not covered in these house rules, festival management will decide the measures to be taken.
LIABILITY
Space Safari cannot be held responsible for injuries or material/immaterial damages sustained by visitors upon entry. Remaining on the festival grounds is entirely at your own risk. We are also not responsible for damage, theft, or loss of items (or their contents).
ALCOHOL & MINORS
By law, it is forbidden to serve alcohol to people under 16 and spirits to people under 18. If in doubt, bar staff may ask for proof of age.
COMPLAINTS
You can submit complaints in writing. Send them to Space Safari (Future Media CVBA, Oude Heerweg Heide 105, 9250 Waasmunster). Do not wait too long: your “right to complain” expires three working days after the incident.
